Greetings!
Today let us explore the word of God that deals with a seed and how to get results in life. Many years ago I was taught how to use my faith and stand until what I prayed for manifested. Here are a few of the principles that have been tried and tested; proven faithful. One thing for sure, God cannot lie. Therefore, if what we are doing is not giving the desired results; it has to be an adjustment made on our end, would you agree?
Let us take a look at Luke 8: 10, where Jesus is teaching his disciples in parables to explain certain truths. "He replied, You have been permitted to understand the secrets of the Kingdom of God . But I am using these stories to conceal everything about it from outsiders..." (NLT). We all know this famous passage as part of the lesson about the sower or farmer scattering seed. As we look deeper, however, the meaning unfolds:
The seed represents God's word. As the farmer goes out and throws the seed, some fell on a path where it was stepped on. The birds saw and ate it. Some other seed landed on very shallow soil surrounded by rocks. Even though the seed took root and started growing, it soon died due to lack of proper moisture reaching and supplying the roots. Other seed fell among thorns and choked the life out of the young blades. Yet another seed fell on good fertile soil. This seed grew and produced a great harvest of crop one hundred times as much as all that was planted.
Now, let us break it down to where we live and see just how precious we are to God:
The word that landed on the (foot path) is a hard place to grow because as soon as the message (good news) is heard, the Devil comes immediately to steal it away. The kingdom of darkness has a role to play in our lives. Satan makes sure to make such drama happen to cause distraction, which prevents anyone one from believing and hearing so faith to be saved can occur.
The rocky soil are precious lives that that hear a great message and get all excited and full of joy. However, they believe for a while until faced with trials and adversity. They soon wither away under pressure because they are not yet rooted and grounded firmly in God's word.
The thorny soil represents all the precious lives that are just too busy with the cares of life, chasing riches and the pleasures of this life. By spending so much time chasing after things; they become stagnate in spiritual growth and development. As a result, maturity rarely happens. They get trapped and stuck in a rut. Often in and out; up and down; tossed from church to church; unsettled...un-teachable and blaming others for their problems.
The good fertile soil is the believer with a made up mind to be honest, faithful to God, making Him priority in life: hear, trust and obey. The harvest goes to the ones that stay close to God and keep an open line of communication. That person prospers and gets results through faith and perseverance.
In closing, try not to look at others, locate you. See where you are now and decide where you want to be; what you want to do and where you want to go in life. Take the time to cultivate a long-term relationship with Jesus. Make it personal and stay connected long enough to bare fruit. If you remain close and teachable; you will grow and mature just fine (smile).
Love and appreciate you!
Stay encouraged.

Don’t Forget To Pray
Written By: T.Dionne
When Times are hard
And it seems there’s no hope
That’s the time to try something new.
But new to you cause the price was paid.
Fall to your knees
& lift your hands with praise
Now you’re on your way.
Seek the Lord Jesus each day.
But don’t you forget to pray.
Your life has been restored
Even better than before
You’re on your way
But don’t forget to pray.
Don’t forget to pray
You know you need Him everyday
Jesus listens while you pray
Give him due praise.
Each day starts a new
Some of them with the blues
Don’t forget to pray.
Like a car without a wheel
It won’t work if you don’t kneel
Don’t forget to pray
Like a tree with out leaves
It won’t shade you when you need
Don’t forget to pray.

Miracles
By: Tracy Lightner
"I'm Looking For A Miracle"
A miracle is not a violation of the laws of nature.
It is God’s acting upon nature in a degree far beyond our powers, but the same kind of act as our wills are continually exerting upon nature. We do not in lifting a stone interfere with any law of nature, but exert a higher force among the laws. (Nelson’s Electronic Bible Reference)
Miracles & Miracles Today
A miracle is simply the exertion of God’s will upon nature.
There were miracles in the Old Testament that were divine in nature, in that God himself judged Egypt in the Exodus of the Jewish people. He poured down His wrath with ten plagues against Egypt and protected the Jews while these events took place. The most compelling miracle was how God's people were protected during the Passover from judgment and that wrath still reached those who it was meant to chastise. How miraculous this event alone was!
Miracles happened throughout the Old and New Testaments of the Bible. One major contributor to biblical miracles was Jesus Christ. Jesus performed miracles throughout His ministry. He raised the dead, cast out demons, healed the sick, made the blind see and fed 5,000 with two loaves and five fishes. Jesus' resurrection is the most widely known, discussed and challenged miracle.
Many people want miracles but the only way to get real ones is to develop a personal relationship with The Lord. The only way to develop that relationship is based on the scripture in Romans 10:9. "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus and shalt belive in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved (The Bible). You must just ask and believe. The point is not to be afraid but ask to ask. Jesus’ ministry is not dead! God answers all prayers, just believe and witness His power! In II Corinthians 4:7 KJV, "But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the Excellency of the power may be of God, and not us. God has the power and if you have the will, He is the way.
Miracles Today
Seventy percent of Americans polled believe in miracles. A television program, Miracles (Fact or Fiction), takes a look at alleged miracles and religious visions occurring around the world. A woman is reported to bleed spontaneously from her forehead, the palms of her hands, and the tops of her feet in sympathy with Christ's crucifixion on Good Friday. And the controversial Shroud of Turin (the burial cloth that Christ was supposedly wrapped in) boasts the apparent imprint of Christ's body. A Georgia housewife, reports the Virgin Mary's apparition communicates messages to her on the thirteenth of every month are just a few miracles investigated by the show. Viewers are asked to make up their own minds based on the "never-before televised" footage.
I have been a part of living miracles since I was a child. I still remember the first time I began to have visions. I was sitting in a room in my grandmother’s house. Suddenly, what visually appeared to me was completely different from what was taking place in the room. An unknown force took control of my sight and my mother’s (our) house appeared. The vision lasted approximately 60 seconds. It was as if I was in a trance. I was led from the front door of our home to the back door. I could see our living room, it was dark, and where the television was kept, I saw nothing. The coat closest was also shown to me for reasons I did not understand and finally the room divider was lying on the kitchen table and I could see that the back door was opened.
In those days, you wouldn’t dare interrupt adults as they talked. Since my sisters were in the room I told them what had just happened and they urged me to inform our mother. It took a while to convince her that something wasn’t right at home; but finally, she did listen.
As soon as we entered the front door, we could tell that our home had been violated. Someone had stolen our television, and from the coat closet, they took -radios, cassette players and other electronic devices had been stolen. As we looked toward the kitchen, we noticed the room divider was on the kitchen table and that the back door had been left opened. My mother and sisters looked at me with a combination of fear and complete shock. Things were just as I had told them. How could that be? As I grew older, the visions came mostly when my family was in danger. I began to respect the miracle I was granted. I knew that the Lord’s divine presence was in my life at an early age.
I am still amazed every time a vision comes to pass. I can only imagine how strengthened and full of God’s love Moses felt when God first appeared to him. God’s miracles are not dead; He speaks to us in many different ways. But do we really hear?
